After graduating from The University of Tokyo College of Arts and Sciences, Shun started working for DeNA. Through his experience as a producer of a social game that generated one billion yen in monthly sales, he transferred to a new project department where he launched akippa, a parking space reservation service, and assisted in launching Robot Taxi, a self-driving taxi and bus service. He left the company in June 2016 to establish BASE FOOD. With “make health a norm by bring innovation to staple foods” as the vision, he developed the world’s first nutritional staple food “BASE PASTA.” Since its release, “BASE PASTA” placed first in Amazon Japan’s food ranking. Currently, the team of six employees are working on domestic popularization and overseas expansion.
